I am passionate about cooking and teaching my skills to children. I have worked as a professional chef as well as running my own catering business. I have taught food education and cookery to children for the past 12 years.
I feel very strongly that teaching children at an early age can benefit them in later life with these essential life skills and cookery club makes this a fun way of doing that.
Your child couldn’t be in safer hands as I am fully DBS checked, hold a health and safety and food hygiene certificate and have my own insurance.
All members of staff are DBS checked.

“Della’s cookery club is a great way to learn vital skills on cooking and the preparation of food, while enjoying the company of other people. Whether you are new to cooking or whether you are an able junior chef, I one hundred percent guarantee that you will learn something new! I know for a fact that if you’ve taken GCSE food then Della’s is a total no-brainer, loads of easy yet impressive recipes that could be used for practical examinations!
I personally wasn’t so fond of cooking but knew it was something I would have to learn eventually, and when I saw the flyer I decided to sign on for a summer school course, and I had so much fun that I signed on again, and again! It’s just such a good thing to learn to do, and if you learn to do it well with Della, cooking can be great fun!”
Joel, Year 10
“Both my children go to cookery club, one in primary school the other in senior school. They are very confident in the kitchen and enjoy repeating Della’s recipes at home. Also, my younger son will try more foods and is now more adventurous. I’ve even learned a few new recipes myself. Well done Della, keep the classes going.”
Mrs Fielding, Parent
“My daughter thoroughly enjoys cookery club every Monday, learning new skills and recipes. Although she will be sad to leave her primary class, she will be signing up at secondary school.”
